I am going to post a haiga a day (mostly haiku/hokku by the classic poets, occasionally mine, coupled with a photo I take) as an experimental project. Please leave comments, m [蜻蛉]
This poppy is stunning in its singleness, which you've caught in both photo and flower. I love the mysterious photo of the summer moon behind the branches, and the Basho poem. I don't quite understand the octopus image, but it matches the mysteriousness of the photo.

ReplyDeleteThat's a complicated haiku of basho. He was on a boat near an area where they trap octopodes.i just realized the branches have a tentacular look !!
